Dear Community,

By the grace of Lord Siva we have been able to organize a Pravachanam by Brahmasri Samavedam Shanmukha Sarma garu. The event is on June 27th. Below are the details of the program.

Detailed schedule

5.30pm - Doors open for seating
5.50-6pm - Guruvu garu arrival and swagatham 
6pm - Devotional Songs
6.25pm - Introduction of guruvu garu and felicitation
6.30pm - Siva Mahima Pravachanam
8.30pm - Aseervachanam and Prasadam distribution

Please note some important instructions
Please arrive at the venue and be seated before 6pm. We understand that it is a working day, but guruvu garu does not like disturbances once the event starts.
Once seated, please ensure that you dont move for the entire duration of the event.
Please occupy the front rows first and progressively fill in towards the back.
There will be a few chairs for the elderly and people who are unable to sit on the floor. Please respect that arrangement.
Please ensure that the kids are absolutely silent throughout the duration of the event.
Please take care of all their needs before you come in as guruvu garu is very particular about disturbances.
Absolutely no eating or drinking is allowed in front of guruvu garu while the event is in progress.

Books and CDs of Guruvu garu's previous pravachanams will be avaialable for sale at the venue. Please consider buying them. All proceeds from these sales will go towards Rushipeetham Charitable Trust.

Guru Dakshina for guruvu garu can also be given in the form or cash or cheque. Please make cheques payable to VFA and put Samavedam in the memo line. All donations made  are tax deductible and we can provide you a receipt for tax purposes. If you would like to buy books and CDs also and pay be cheque, please write the cheque as cash.
